guys, I love seeing your photos of my recipes - send them to me!
baking challenge: this month saw me finally cracking the squidgy gluten-free brownie.

and, baking blondies for the first time.
I also baked a syrup ginger cinnamon cake with seasonal plums.
plus a very successful loaf of bread.
not to mention our first ever apple pie.
this orange cherry loaf turned out very well even after the batter curdled halfway.
and, by far my favourite, was our cake for Eid-al-Adha: chocolate sponge + coffee sponge + Nutella whipped cream + coffee buttercream.
my fave meals: one-pan roasted chicken with potatoes + peppers + tomatoes + basil + rosemary + thyme + red onion + garlic with grilled corn.
peanut butter on toast + Indian tea.
courgette leek fritters + garlic lemon yoghurt.
grilled salami cheese bagel + melon + cucumber + tomato + tangerine + orange + pickle + Sriracha.
spiced carrot soup + tahini lemon dollop + cumin roasted chickpeas + za'atar pitta wedges.
Bombay chicken biryani with peppers + fried onions + fresh mint + fresh coriander.
chicken tikka + hot pitta bread + Sriracha + minty yoghurt + tomato + lettuce + cucumber + pickled pepper.
chicken tikka + stir-fried veggies + spicy coconut basil rice noodles.

September has flown by in the blink of an eye. It brought both moments of joy and grief. I pray that Allah accepts all our efforts in this month and blesses us even more during October.

Keep me in your duas, please,

Wasalaam!
