Pico De Gallo Salsa

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu!

This recipe is for Pico De Gallo Salsa, which is a popular Mexican salsa. It's really fresh, vibrant and good for you. The salsa can be eaten with tortilla chips, in fajitas and tacos or as a side dish with grilled chicken or fish.

A Simple List of Ingredients:

1. Red Onion
2. Tomatoes
3. Jalapeno Chillies
4. Fresh Coriander
5. Limes
6. Salt

Bismillah, let's begin!

Take three jalapeno chillies.

Finely chop the chillies. You can remove the seeds if you don't like it too spicy.

Take five tomatoes.

Finely chop them, and add them to the chillies.

Peel one red onion. You could use a normal onion too.

Finely slice the onion, and throw it in with the tomatoes.

Finely slice a bunch of fresh coriander. You can leave the stalks out if you want.

Slice one lime in half.

Juice the limes.

Pour the lime juice into the bowl, and season well with salt, to taste.

Mix well to combine.

And, serve! You could make the salsa more chunky by not slicing the ingredients as fine, or if you like a smoother salsa, just blend at the end until its the consistency you want.
