Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu!
This recipe is for Chapli Kebabs. There are so many different kinds of kebabs out there, and this one has it's name because it's supposed to be thin like a chapal (Pakistani slipper). Mine were thin but could have been thinner - but oh well! They tasted really good anyway!

2. Coriander Seeds
3. Spring Onions
4. Green Chillies

6. Salt

8. Vegetable Oil
Bismillah, let's make kebabs!
2. Coriander Seeds
3. Spring Onions
4. Green Chillies
5. Fresh Coriander
6. Salt
7. Red Chilli Powder
8. Vegetable Oil
Bismillah, let's make kebabs!
To start, roughly chop 1 bunch spring onions.
Take 5 whole green chillies.
Take a handful chopped fresh coriander.
Place the spring onions, chillies and coriander into a food processor.
Blitz until finely chopped.
Next, take 2 tablespoons coriander seeds.
Grind the seeds in a spice grinder until a coarse powder is formed. You could use normal ground coriander too, but this recipe does require a much coarser powder than normal.
Take 1 and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Take 1 and 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder.
Add all the spices to the blender.
Blitz again!
Add 1 pound lamb mince.
Blitz once again! (How easy is this recipe? The blender does most of the work.)
Dump the mixture into a mixing bowl, and give it a quick stir by hand to make sure everything is combined.
Shape the kebabs into patties, and try and make them as thin as possible. Fry in hot oil until cooked all the way through.
Serve straight away with a salad and pitta bread!
Wasalaam!
Wasalaam!
