Roast Chicken Tikka

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu!

Chicken is one of the most popular meats in the world, and people are always looking for a different way and recipe to cook it. This is a marinade which contains gram flour, and so when the chicken is roasted, it gives it quite a crispy coating.
I forgot to take pictures at the end again - sorry! But the marinade is here, and that is the most important part.

A Simple List of Ingredients:

1. Whole Chicken Pieces

2. Garlic
3. Ginger
4. Green Chillies
5. Gram Flour
6. Yoghurt
7. Paprika
8. Red Chilli Powder
9. Garam Masala
10. Ground Coriander
11. Ground Cinnamon
12. Salt

Bismillah, let's start!

Place a whole chicken, cut into pieces, into a large bowl. You could also use boneless chicken pieces if you wanted to.

Add 2 tablespoons of gram flour.

Next, take:
4 garlic cloves, peeled
1 green chilli, roughly chopped
1 inch piece ginger, peeled

Blend the above with a little water, until a paste is formed.

Add to the chicken.

Next, add 2 tablespoons of yoghurt, and mix.

Add 2 teaspoons paprika.

Add 1 teaspoon of ground coriander.

Add 1 teaspoon of garam masala.

Add 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder.

Add a pinch of ground cinnamon.

Add salt, to taste.

Stir to combine, and marinade overnight for the best flavour.

Roast in the oven at Gas Mark 6 for 1 hour.
