Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu!
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
this week, writing out my daily schedule on my phone and planner has helped me keep on track of everything.
also, i have learnt that it's not good to be afraid of trying new things. whether it's baking a loaf of brioche for the first time or stepping into the unknown world that is Malaysian cuisine, go for it and give it a go. you never know, you may end up baking better bread than anything in your local supermarket.

finally, more new spring lambs at the farm. omg - they are beyond adorable. always skipping after their mothers who unfortunately for them, seem to be more interested in food.

here are a few snippets of what's been going on this week:
Saturday was when I bit the bullet and baked bread.
the brioche was perfect the next morning for breakfast though.
with tea and homemade strawberry jam.
tahini was involved at lunch time.
as were sweet potatoes.
on Monday, i made a Malaysian curry with a Portuguese twist.
it was really delicious and very different from our usual curries. i adapted the recipe from here.
