Bismillah, let's start!
Into a large bowl, place 1/2 small grated onion and 1 grated garlic clove.
Add 4 ounces defrosted frozen spinach.
Add 4 tablespoons breadcrumbs.
Add 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce.
Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Add 1 teaspoon olive oil.
Add 1 egg.
Add 1 pound chicken mince.
Mix everything well to combine.
Heat a few tablespoons vegetable oil in a pan, shape the mixture into patties, and fry until golden brown.
My mother covers the pan half way through cooking. She says this helps them cook through and stay moist.
Once the burgers are cooked, remove from the pan and keep warm whilst making the wedges.
Peel and slice 4 potatoes into wedges and place onto a plate.
Heat the wedges in the microwave for 7-8 minutes or until they are cooked through.
In a bowl, place 2 tablespoons vegetable oil.
Add salt and pepper, to taste.
Add 1 teaspoon red chilli powder.
Stir to combine.
Add the wedges to the marinade and toss until evenly coated.
Heat a grill pan, add grill the wedges for a few minutes until golden brown.
Serve the burger in a bun with the salad and condiments you like, along with the wedges, and serve straight away!
