Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu!
This recipe is for Banana Bread with Maple Syrup Butter. I have never tried making Banana Bread before, but when I tried this recipe, it baked really well. The Maple Syrup Butter is really simple to make, and makes the bread taste even better than it already does!

This recipe is for Banana Bread with Maple Syrup Butter. I have never tried making Banana Bread before, but when I tried this recipe, it baked really well. The Maple Syrup Butter is really simple to make, and makes the bread taste even better than it already does!
A Simple List of Ingredients:
1. Butter
2. Sugar
3. Eggs
4. Bananas
5. Vanilla Flavourings
6. Self-Raising Flour
7. Ground Cinnamon
8. Salt
9. Maple Syrup
Bismillah, let's start!
First, preheat the oven to Gas Mark 4.
This recipe makes 2 loaves of Banana Bread, so you can adjust the recipe to suit you.
Grease and line 2 loaf tins so they are ready for you later.
Into the bowl of a standing mixer, place 4 ounces butter.
Add 8 ounces sugar.
Using the paddle attachment, cream the butter and sugar together.
Add 2 eggs.
Beat in the eggs until well combined.
Next, take 3 ripe bananas.
Peel the bananas, and roughly mash them in a bowl.
Add the mashed bananas to the batter.
Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla flavouring.
Mix to combine.
Add 12 ounces self-raising flour.
Add 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon and 1 teaspoon salt.
Mix until just combined.
Divide the mixture equally between the two loaf tins. Bake in the preheated oven at Gas Mark 4 for 1 hour.
Bake until golden brown and firm in the middle. Insert a toothpick in the middle, and if it comes out clean with no wet batter on it, the loaves are done!
Remove the loaves from the tins, and place on to a wire rack to cool.
To make the Maple Syrup Butter, place 3 ounces softened butter into a bowl.
Soften the butter with the back of a spoon.
Next, one of my favourite ingredients, maple syrup!
Add 2 tablespoons maple syrup to the butter.
Stir well to combine.
And, it's ready to serve!
Cut a slice of Banana Bread, and top with the Maple Syrup Butter.
Serve for breakfast, as a snack or with tea!
