Gluten-Free Banana Bread

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu!



This recipe is for Gluten Free Banana Bread. It is really yummy and will make your house smell amazing when it's in the oven. When baked, slice the bread and spread with butter and enjoy with a hot cup of tea or coffee!

A Simple List of Ingredients:


1. Gluten Free Plain Flour
2. Vanilla Flavouring 
3. Baking Powder
4. Eggs
5. Bicarbonate of Soda
6. Salt
7. Vegetable Oil
8. Almond Milk
9. Sugar
10. Orange Marmalade
11. Ground Almonds
12. Dates
13. Ripe Bananas

Bismillah, let's bake!

Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 4.


Place 8 ounces (1 cup) gluten-free plain flour into a bowl. If you don't want the bread to be gluten-free then use normal plain flour.



Throw in 8 ounces (1 cup) ground almonds.



Add:
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda



Add 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon.



Stir everything well to combine, and set aside.



Into another mixing bowl, place 4 ounces (1/2 cup) sugar.



Add 2 tablespoons orange marmalade.



Add 3 tablespoons vegetable oil.



Whisk everything together until combined well.



Crack in 2 eggs.



Add 4 mashed ripe bananas



Add 1 teaspoon vanilla flavouring



Add 60ml (1/4 cup) almond milk.



Whisk well.



Add the dry ingredients from earlier.



Stir until combined.




Finally, add 1/2 cup pitted and chopped dates.



Throw in the chopped dates.



Mix until just combined.



Pour the mixture into a lined loaf tin.



Bake in the preheated oven at Gas Mark 4 for about 1 hour until fully cooked through.



Allow to come to room temperature and then slice and serve!
